4 sourcing platforms that publish no price and offer a call or demo, and what to ask on the call

In Clinic Partner Guide's index, whose records were scored 31 August 2026, 4 of the 12 scored sourcing platforms publish no price and name a call or demo as a way in: VitaRelay, Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne, CLR RX and The Banyan Network. Before that call, a clinic can check what kind of business each is and how it describes ordering, but not what it would pay.

Four platforms with no published price and a call or demo on the way in

In Clinic Partner Guide's index, whose records were scored 31 August 2026, 4 of the 12 scored sourcing platforms publish no price and name a call or demo as a way in: VitaRelay, Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne, CLR RX and The Banyan Network. Before that call, a clinic can check what kind of business each is and how it describes ordering, but not what it would pay.Source 2

TheCompounded Sourcing Platform Indexcompares 12 platforms on 7 criteria, read from their own public pages.Source 2Ourmethodologyalready names this pattern: "A mandatory demo call before pricing is recorded as a gate."Source 3

This page quotes what our record says about each of the four, what you can learn before the call, and what to ask once you are on it.What each publishes, not a verdict on service.

The four records, quoted

Our records for these four platforms, scored 31 August 2026, quote what each publishes on price and its way in.Source 2

VitaRelay(Multi-Pharmacy Marketplace). On price, our record reads: "No pricing is published; entry is book a call." On the way in: "Self-serve registration is offered alongside book a call."Source 2Platform's own site:vitarelay.com

Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne(Multi-Pharmacy Marketplace). On price, our record reads: "No pricing is published; the product sits behind a demo." On the way in: "Entry is sign up or book a demo."Source 2Platform's own site:ironsailpharma.com

CLR RX(Multi-Pharmacy Marketplace). On price, our record reads: "No pricing is published; entry is a private demo request." On the way in: "Entry is a private demo request."Source 2Platform's own site: clrrx.com.

The Banyan Network(GPO / Buying Network). On price, our record reads: "The rates themselves are not published." On the way in, entry is "a call request rather than self-serve."Source 2Platform's own site:thebanyannetwork.com

How we counted. We read two fields in each of the 12 scored records, pricing transparency and ordering workflow, and counted every record whose reason names a call or a demo as a way in. Three name it in the pricing field. The fourth, The Banyan Network, names it in the ordering field: "Entry is a call request and no portal is described." As a cross-check, all four score 2 or 3 of 5 on onboarding speed. OnlyScripts and Pharm503 are listed in the index but not scored, and sit in no count.Source 2

Two of the four also describe a route that does not start with a call: VitaRelay's self-serve registration and Ironsail's sign-up. Whether prices appear after registration is not published.Source 2

Pages change after a scoring date. On 27 September 2026, The Banyan Network's home page published no rates, and the main button under its headline read "Get a pricing review". Read each platform's current page before you book.Source 5

What the other eight records show

The other 8 scored records name no call or demo in either field. That is not the same as publishing a price list. 2 of the 8, the directories Find My Compounder and the APC / A4PC Pharmacy Locator, also read "No pricing is published." A directory lists pharmacies and takes no order.Source 2

Where the other records do show price information, it takes different forms. Fizy Health's record reads "Pass-through is the pharmacy price rather than a per-clinic negotiated rate." AutoPilotRx's record says pricing is "comparable in-portal", and CompoundingFinder's reads "Compares pharmacies by price, turnaround, shipping and inactive ingredients" (all scored 31 August 2026).Source 2The full criterion is onwhich platforms publish clinic pricing.

A call before a price is a business choice

Talking to a clinic before quoting it is a sales model. Our records do not say why any of these four platforms uses it, and this page does not guess. The methodology is explicit about what a low transparency score means: "A platform that discloses little scores lower on transparency, which is a statement about its disclosure and not about its service."Source 3

Three of the four are not scored low on pricing at all. Where nothing is published, the criterion is recorded as unknown and left out of the average, "so silence is not punished."Source 3The Banyan Network, whose record describes its terms but not its rates, scores 4 of 5 on pricing transparency (scored 31 August 2026).Source 2

What the choice changes is the order of your work. With a published price, you compare first and call the suppliers that fit. With a call first, each comparison costs a meeting, and you compare afterwards, from whatever you wrote down.

What you can and cannot learn before the call

  • You can learn the kind of business.3 of the 4 are multi-pharmacy marketplaces and 1 is a buying network.Source 2Ourguide to the four kinds of sourcing platformexplains what each kind does.
  • You can learn how ordering is described. Our records note VitaRelay's "separate clinic and rep portals", CLR RX's "pharmacy marketplace front end with a pharmacy operation behind it" and, for The Banyan Network, that "no portal is described."Source 2
  • You can learn whether there is a route that skips the call. Our records describe one at VitaRelay and at Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne. For CLR RX, entry is "a private demo request"; for The Banyan Network, "a call request rather than self-serve."Source 2
  • You cannot learn a unit price.None of the 4 records shows one.Source 2
  • You cannot learn the negotiated rate. The Banyan Network's record describes negotiated per-clinic rates, then: "The rates themselves are not published."Source 2Its home page, read 27 September 2026, published no rates either.Source 5

Five questions to ask on the call

  1. A written price at your volume.

"Can you send your price list, or a written quote at our monthly volume, with the date it is valid until?" A number said on a call is hard to compare with a number on a page.

  2. What the price is made of.

"Is this the pharmacy's price, a platform price or a negotiated rate, and which fees apply at setup, per month and per order?" Models differ: Fizy Health's record describes pass-through pharmacy pricing, and The Banyan Network's describes negotiated per-clinic rates.Source 2

  3. Who fills the order, and where they hold a license.

"Which pharmacies would fill our orders, and which of them hold a license covering each state we operate in?" Check each license yourself with the issuing state board.

  4. What signing up commits you to.

"Can we register and see prices before we sign anything, and is there a membership fee, a contract or a minimum order?"

  5. The answers in writing.

"Will you confirm these answers by email after the call?" Keep the email with the rest of yourdue-diligence file, and ask every supplier on your shortlist the same five questions.

Questions clinics ask

Which compounding sourcing platforms ask for a call or demo before showing prices?

In Clinic Partner Guide's index, scored 31 August 2026, 4 of the 12 scored platforms publish no price and name a call or demo as a way in: VitaRelay, Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne, CLR RX and The Banyan Network.Source 2Our records note a sign-up route at VitaRelay and Ironsail as well.Source 2

Does a demo gate mean a platform costs more?

Not necessarily. A demo gate tells you the price is not published, not what the price is. Clinic Partner Guide's methodology calls limited disclosure "a statement about its disclosure and not about its service."Source 3Ask for a written quote at your volume and compare it.

How does Clinic Partner Guide's methodology assess a demo gate?

It records "A mandatory demo call before pricing" as a gate, and its onboarding speed criterion (10% of the score) assesses "whether a call or a membership fee stands in the way."Source 3Unpublished pricing is recorded as unknown and left out of the average, not scored low.Source 3

What should a clinic ask on a sourcing platform's sales call?

Ask for a written price at your monthly volume with a validity date, what the price is made of and which fees apply, which pharmacies would fill your orders and where each is licensed, and what registering commits you to. Then ask for the answers by email.

Does Clinic Partner Guide have a commercial relationship with any platform in this index?

What each 503A pharmacy partner publishes about pricing

There is no standard 503A compounding pharmacy price for clinics, and the reason is disclosure rather than variation alone: of the 12 sourcing platforms in this index, one publishes actual clinic rates. The rest either describe how pricing works without saying what it costs, or publish nothing about price and quote only after a call. Read as at 2026-08-31.
