What the Compounded Sourcing Platform Index is
Yes, open comparison data exists. As of 19 September 2026, Clinic Partner Guide'sCompounded Sourcing Platform IndexSource 1compares 12 compounded-medication sourcing platforms for licensed clinics on 7 weighted criteria, each score read from the platform's own public pages (scored 2026-08-31)Source 2. The full data is free to download asCSVSource 2andJSONSource 3under CC BY 4.0.
Two more platforms, OnlyScripts and Pharm503, are listed with the reason they were not scored rather than dropped.Source 2
Clinic Partner Guide publishes the index and has a commercial affiliation with its highest-scoring platform, Avanta Pharma Group (5.0 out of 5, scored 2026-08-31)Source 2. Read every number below with that in mind.
A low score describes disclosure, not service. The methodology:"A platform that discloses little scores lower on transparency, which is a statement about its disclosure and not about its service."Source 4
Disclosure: Clinic Partner Guide has a commercial affiliation with Avanta Pharma Group. Avanta is scored on the same criteria as every platform in the index, and no payment changes a score, a rank or an award. What each row contains
- The CSV has 14 rows (12 scored, 2 listed as not scored) and 28 columns.Source 2

- overall_of_5: the weighted score, 0 to 5.
- criteria_evidenced_pct: the share of criteria weight the platform published enough on to be judged.
- verified_at: the date the pages were read, 2026-08-31 for every row.
- primary_document_url: a price list or terms page, where one is published.
- For each of the 7 criteria: <criterion>_score, <criterion>_source and <criterion>_reason, the sentence justifying the score.
- The JSON holds the same rows plus each criterion's weight and definition, the license and the scale.Source 3
What the data shows about what platforms publish to clinics
"Platform" covers unlike businesses.Of the 12 scored rows, 5 are multi-pharmacy marketplaces (AutoPilotRx, Fizy Health, VitaRelay, Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne, CLR RX), 4 are directories, 1 is a GPO or buying network (The Banyan Network), 1 is a quote engine (CompoundingFinder) and 1 is a direct supply partner (Avanta Pharma Group), scored 2026-08-31.Source 2A clinic comparing "platforms" is comparing different business models.
Half describe an ordering system.6 of 12 score 4 or 5 on ordering workflow (scored 2026-08-31): Avanta Pharma Group, AutoPilotRx and Fizy Health at 5; VitaRelay, Ironsail and CLR RX at 4.Source 2The other 6 offer discovery, quotes or buying terms. The directories record no ordering function, CompoundingFinder's reason says "so it is not a reorder workflow", and The Banyan Network's says "no portal is described".Source 2
5 of 12 publish nothing about price that could be scored(scored 2026-08-31). Three are ordering platforms whose entry is a call or a demo: VitaRelay ("No pricing is published; entry is book a call."), Ironsail ("No pricing is published; the product sits behind a demo.") and CLR RX ("No pricing is published; entry is a private demo request.").Source 2The other two are Find My Compounder and the APC / A4PC Pharmacy Locator. Seewhich platforms publish clinic pricingSource 5.
Publishing something about price is not publishing a price.Of the 7 platforms that publish something, 1 reason contains price figures: Avanta Pharma Group's, which records per-vial list prices and three volume tiers (up to 24, 25 plus, 100 plus), scored 2026-08-31.Source 2The Banyan Network's reason reads: "The rates themselves are not published."Source 2
6 of 12 publish a price list or termsa clinic can read before signing up (scored 2026-08-31): Avanta Pharma Group, Fizy Health, VitaRelay, CompoundingFinder, Find My Chemist and Find My Compounder.Source 3
Turnaround is the least-published fact.6 of 12 publish nothing about turnaround that could be scored, more than any other criterion (scored 2026-08-31). Of the 6 that were scored, 4 reasons state there is no commitment: Fizy Health ("No turnaround commitment."), VitaRelay ("without a turnaround commitment"), CLR RX ("without a published turnaround") and The Banyan Network ("No turnaround is published.").Source 2CompoundingFinder's "1 to 2 business days" is, in its reason's words, "a wait for quotes rather than fulfilment".Source 2Seewhich platforms publish a turnaround timeSource 6.
Unknowns cluster in three criteria.12 of 84 criterion cells are not stated: 6 in turnaround, 5 in pricing transparency and 1 in security posture (Ironsail: "Nothing published on the public site."), scored 2026-08-31.Source 3Ordering workflow, direct accountability and onboarding speed have no unknowns.Source 3
No marketplace, network, directory or quote engine in the index is recorded as naming an account owner (scored 2026-08-31).Source 2The reasons for AutoPilotRx, Fizy Health and The Banyan Network record no named account owner; CLR RX's says "accountability sits with the platform rather than a named contact"; CompoundingFinder's says "The service ends at introduction".Source 2
Two ordering platforms put a demo in the entry path,2 of the 6 (scored 2026-08-31): Ironsail ("Entry is sign up or book a demo. A demo gate delays a first order.") and CLR RX ("Entry is a private demo request.").Source 2VitaRelay offers self-serve registration "alongside book a call".Source 2State coverage is compared separately on themulti-state coverage pageSource 7.
Disclosure: Clinic Partner Guide has a commercial affiliation with Avanta Pharma Group. Avanta is scored on the same criteria as every platform in the index, and no payment changes a score, a rank or an award. How the scores are made
The index uses 7 criteria, weighted according to ourpublished methodologySource 4(v1.0, updated August 2026). Ordering workflow, pricing transparency and direct accountability carry 20% each. Multi-state coverage, turnaround, security posture and onboarding speed carry 10% each.Source 3
Silence is excluded rather than scored low: "A criterion neither published nor confirmed to us is recorded as unknown and excluded from the weighted average rather than scored low, so silence is not punished."Source 4The methodology adds: "That does mean two overall scores can rest on different numbers of criteria."Source 4
That shows in the data. Criteria evidenced runs from 60% to 100%, with a mean of 85.8% computed from the JSON (scored 2026-08-31).Source 3Ironsail Pharma / ImpetusOne ranks 5th at 3.33 on 60% of criteria weight evidenced, above CLR RX (3.25, 80%) and The Banyan Network (3.10, 100%).Source 3
Under the methodology, a criterion can be scored from what a platform publishes or from what it confirms to Clinic Partner Guide.Source 4In this version, all 84 criterion cells cite a published page, so anyone can check every score against the platform's own site (scored 2026-08-31).Source 3
How this differs from GLP-1 price indexes and pharmacy directories
Consumer GLP-1 price indexes record what patients pay telehealth programs. This index records what compounded-medication sourcing platforms publish to licensed clinics: ordering, pricing, accountability, states, turnaround, security and onboarding.Source 1It makes no clinical assessment.
Pharmacy directories list pharmacies. Here, 4 directories are themselves rows, scored on the same criteria: the Peptide Association Pharmacy Directory, Find My Chemist, Find My Compounder and the APC / A4PC Pharmacy Locator (scored 2026-08-31).Source 2A search on 19 September 2026 found no other open dataset on clinic sourcing platforms.
Regulatory context for clinics reading supplier data next to GLP-1 pricing: FDA's shortage listings for tirzepatide (December 2024) and semaglutide (February 2025) have ended, and FDA has since acted against marketing of compounded GLP-1s; what a 503A pharmacy may compound is patient-specific and varies by state. Source: fda.gov, "FDA clarifies policies for compounders as national GLP-1 supply begins to stabilize", read 2026-09-19.Source 11
What the index does not cover
The index does not assess clinical quality, formulations or outcomes. It compares sourcing platforms, not 503A pharmacies themselves. For the choice between the two models, seebuying direct from a 503A pharmacy vs a sourcing partnerSource 8.
Two platforms are listed but not scored. OnlyScripts "Returned HTTP 503 on every attempt on 2026-08-29, so none of its claims could be read from its own pages." Pharm503 "States Join Waitlist and now accepting early access signups, so it is pre-launch."Source 2
The scores are a snapshot. In the methodology's words: "Scores are a snapshot of published information on the date shown."Source 4Supplier pages can change after 31 August 2026, so check the platform's own page on the day you decide.
How a clinic can use it in a supplier shortlist
Filter by the kind of supplier you need.
Download the CSV and filter the category column. A directory, a marketplace and a direct supply partner answer different procurement questions.Source 2
Read the evidence share beside the score.
Put criteria_evidenced_pct next to overall_of_5. Two similar scores can rest on very different amounts of evidence.Source 3
Read the reason sentence.
Each <criterion>_reason column states what the platform published.Source 2
Turn the gaps into sales-call questions.
Where a cell is not published, ask the supplier directly: what will I pay at my volume, what fulfillment time do you commit to in writing, and who owns my account?
Read the terms before you sign up.
Follow primary_document_url where it exists.Source 3
Check the date.
Read verified_at, then open the supplier's own page on the day you decide.Source 2
How to cite and reuse the data
The license isCC BY 4.0Source 10. The attribution string set in the CSV header and the JSON is "Compounded Sourcing Platform Index, clinicpartnerguide.com".Source 2A citation that carries the date: Compounded Sourcing Platform Index, clinicpartnerguide.com, scored 2026-08-31, CC BY 4.0.
The file URLs arehttps://clinicpartnerguide.com/sourcing-platform-index.csvSource 2andhttps://clinicpartnerguide.com/sourcing-platform-index.jsonSource 3. The CSV downloads as sourcing-platform-index-2026-08-31.csv, so a saved copy keeps its scoring date.

What each 503A pharmacy partner publishes about pricing
There is no standard 503A compounding pharmacy price for clinics, and the reason is disclosure rather than variation alone: of the 12 sourcing platforms in this index, one publishes actual clinic rates. The rest either describe how pricing works without saying what it costs, or publish nothing about price and quote only after a call. Read as at 2026-08-31.
| Platform | Clinic pricing | What is published |
|---|---|---|
| Rates published | Publishes per-vial list prices (semaglutide 2 mL from $65, tirzepatide from $60), three volume tiers (up to 24, 25 plus, 100 plus) and an on-site price comparison calculator; states repeat volume is quoted case by case. | |
| Model only, no rates | States pricing, state licensing and formularies are comparable in-portal and free for providers. No per-clinic negotiated pricing is stated. | |
| Model only, no rates | States pass-through pricing and zero platform fee. Pass-through is the pharmacy price rather than a per-clinic negotiated rate. | |
| Model only, no rates | States negotiated per-clinic rates, net-30 terms and zero membership fees. The rates themselves are not published. | |
| Model only, no rates | Compares pharmacies by price, turnaround, shipping and inactive ingredients, free and with no obligation. | |
| Peptide Association Pharmacy Directory | Model only, no rates | States price ranges are tracked alongside accreditation and compounds. |
| Model only, no rates | Invites submitted prices and shows price information, but not provider-negotiated rates. | |
| Nothing published | No pricing is published; entry is book a call. | |
| Nothing published | No pricing is published; the product sits behind a demo. | |
| CLR RX | Nothing published | No pricing is published; entry is a private demo request. |
| Nothing published | No pricing is published. | |
| Nothing published | No pricing is published. |
Pricing shown is what each provider published at the time we recorded it and may change. Actual pricing varies by product, formulation, order volume, shipping, pharmacy, location and commercial terms. Confirm current pricing directly with the provider.
